Shipping And Delivery

Thank you for visiting Foster's Furniture.  We sincerely hope you enjoy everything you see, and hope we have the opprotunity of your business. Foster's offers a variety of uniqe items, all of which are composed by a variety of resources. 

DUE TO THE NATURE OF OUR PRODUCTS AND THE PROCESS INVOLVED IN HOW THEY ARE MADE AND TRANSPORTED, LEAD TIMES AND SHIPPING TIMES ARE ESTIMATES AND DO VARY. 

And while we do the best we can to estimate delivery timelines and dates, please understand that this information is based on information provided by our resources. 

These estimates can and do change unexpectedly from time to time due to circumstances of which we have no control over.

WE USE SPECIALIZED FURNITURE ONLY SHIPPING COMPANIES.  We do this because specialized carriers are more adept at the proper care and gentle handling our pieces deserve. PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT THESE CARRIERS ARE NOT AS FAST NOR DO THEY FUNCTION IN ANY WAY LIKE OTHER TYPES OF SHIPPING COMPANIES SUCH AS UPS OR FedEX.    

The dates we provide are based on delivery to our local area.  If you live in an area substantially distant from our showroom, please anticipate additional transit time depending on where you live.

To find what we charge for shipping and delivery, many items have charges specified on their product page.  If not, you can call us or simply add an item to your shopping cart, then go to the shopping cart and enter the required information into the "calculate shipping" section. 

IN STORE PICK UP - The simple choice is to come in and pick up your order once it arrives.  If you decide this is for you, please make certain that you bring all necessry blankes, straps, and anything needed to safely get your new items to their final destination safe and sound.  

BASIC DELIVERY - If you'd like to have us get your items to you, but you prefer to move them about your home, we offer a BASIC Bring It Just Inside My Door service.  When everything is ready, we'll call you and schedule a day and time to bring your order to your home.  Once there, we'll unpack it and bring it just inside your door.  And from there it's all up to you.    

FULL SERVICE WHITE GLOVE - If you want the easiest way about it, we offer full service delivery and set up.  When everything is ready, we'll call you to figure a day and time that works best to meet at your home.  And when we get there, please show us where you'd like your new furnishings to be placed, and we'll take care of the rest.  We set the items you've ordered just where you'd like them to go, making sure everything is placed properly, leveled, and ready for your enjoyment.  We don't set up electronic equipment though.  In most cases we can haul away your existing furniure for an additional charge but you must request this before we schedule your delivery; otherwise your room must be emptied and ready for us to set up your items when we arrive for delivery.   

Foster’s has been in business since 1951, and we know how to properly get the items you've ordered from us to your home safe and sound.  The furniture that you place in your home is a direct reflection of who you are.  After you decide to purchase, it's our belief that you should have the least amount of concern about how your furniture gets into your home and put together. In all instances, make certain you have measured to be sure the pieces you are ordering can get into your home and fit into your room.  Make sure it will fit through all the doors along the way.  Make sure it will be able to turn around all the corners along the way.  Make sure it can fit through stairwells or into elevators.  And if you live in a residence that requires us to make an appointment for use of a loading dock or receiving area, please be sure to let us know so we can plan accordingly. 

And before you sign off on our delivery receipt, please make sure nothing is damaged or missing before signing.  Please understand that we rely on you to make sure the item arrived undamaged by the shipping and delivery process.  If an item arrives short something or damaged, please go ahead with receiving it BUT NOTATE THE MISSING ITEM OR DAMAGES ON YOUR DELIVERY TICKET.  Then please contact us right away.  We'll take care of everything right away, but you need to make sure you write down any exceptions on the delivery ticket before you sign it.  Some exclusions for our delivery services apply.  Please call us if you have questions.  These services exclude Alaska, Hawaii, or international locations.  All prices, shipping, as well as delivery, are based in US Dollars and only delivered within the continental USA.  If the pieces you'd like need to go to Alaska, Hawaii, or an international location, please contact us for a proper quote.
