We have enjoyed a woderful relationship with this factory over the course of the past several decades.  Due to ongoing supply chain, labor, and shipping challenges facing our industry, we have decided, for the time being, to focus only on factories able to ship an order in four weeks or less.  As a result of this decision, the last day we will accept orders for this factory, for the time, being will be Friday December 23rd, 2022.  Our decision has been based in large part on our desire to offer our customers with the best overall experience that we can provide.  Even though we've done our best to explain the time needed for special orders to be built, shipped, and delivered, along with the potential for changes or delays involving any of those aspects, unfortunately many customers don't understand this, don't pay attention to the explanation we give for it, or don't take it seriously.  The result of this either way creates circumstances for business that we don't want to have until such a time as things do truly get back to normal.  We've shifted focus on sourcing from many wonderful resources that have items either in stock ready to ship now, or have the ability to get an order produced and shipped in four weeks or less.  As time goes by, we will revisit other factories to evaluate when the time is right to order again.   

Special Order - All Lazar items are custom made to order.  This gives you the choice to fully customize a design's configuration and leather color to perfectly fit your needs.

For Lazar Special Orders, a production lead time of 6 to 8 months is presently necessary due to variances in raw material supply and production capabilities.  

For Shipping, there is presently a 3 to 5 week average transit time for most orders.

Please allow 7 to 9 months for final delivery.

BASIC DELIVERY  If you'd like to have us bring your items to you, but you prefer to move them about your home on your own, we offer a basic delivery service.  When an item arrives for you, we'll call you and schedule a day and time to bring it to your home.  Once at your home, we'll bring it just inside your door when possible, or to the first dry area of your home such as your garage.  And from there it's all up to you to unpack and set it up in your home.     

DELUXE DELIVERY - If you want the easiest way about it, we offer full service delivery and set up.  When an item arrives for you, we'll call you to schedule a day and time that works best to meet at your home.  And when we get there, just show us where you'd like your new furnishings to be placed.  We'll take care of the rest.  We place the items you've ordered just where you'd like them to go, making sure everything is set and put together properly, leveled, and ready for your enjoyment.  Excludes handling of any electronic equipment.  Excludes hanging any mirrors or wall art.  DELUXE DELIVERY ADDS ONE TO TWO WEEKS OF ADDITIONAL TIME REQUIRED FOR RECEIVING, PROCESSING, AND SCHEDULING.

In all instances, make certain you have measured to be sure the pieces you are ordering can get into your home and fit into your room.  Make sure it will fit through all the doors and will be able to turn all the corners along the way.  And if you live in a residence that requires us to make an appointment for use of a loading dock or receiving area, please be sure to let us know so we can plan accordingly.

Guardian understands that a new furniture purchase is an important decision and investment.  Guardian offers this Furniture Protection Plan so you can relax and enjoy the beauty and comfort of your new furniture without any worry of life's little accidents.

The guardian Protection Plan is designed to cover accidental stains or damages that occurred from a specific incident. 

Accidental Coverage Includes:

FOR FABRIC OR LEATHER - 

FOOD OR BEVERAGE STAINS FROM A SPECIFIC INCIDENT.

HUMAN OR PET BODILY FLUID STAINS FROM A SPECIFIC INCIDENT.

GRASS, GREASE, BALLPOINT PEN INK, COSMETICS, IODINE, LIPSTICK, CRAYON AND SHOE POLISH STAINS.

NAIL POLISH STAINS.

RIPS, CUTS, BURNS, OR PUNCTURES.

BREAKAGE OF FRAMES, SPRINGS, MOTORS, AND HEATING, RECLINING, INCLINING, AND VIBRATING MECHANISMS WILL BE COVERED IF THEY WERE COVERED BY THE ORIGINAL MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY THAT HAS EXPIRED.

FOR WOOD - 

FOOD OR BEVERAGE STAINS FROM A SPECIFIC INCIDENT.

NAIL POLISH STAINS.

BREAKAGE OF WOOD OR OTHER HARD SURFACE.

GOUGE, HEAT MARK, OR LIQUID RING.

CHIP/BREAKAGE OF GLASS OR MIRRORS, LOSS OF SILVERING ON MIRRORS (EXCEPT CROWNED OR CURVED GLASS).

CHECKING, CRACKING, BUBBLING, OR PEELING OF FINISH.

If you purchase the Guardian Furniture Protection Plan, you will recieve a copy of your protection plan documents after your order gets delivered to you.  You may also view your documents online by visiting GuardianProducts.com and clicking on the "MY PLAN DOCUMENTS" button.  

If a covered stain or damage occurs, simply call the toll free customer service line at 1.800.527.8485 within 30 days of the incident.  Have your itemized receipt and Guardian Plan documents in hand.  Be prepared to describe the incident, including the size, location, and when and how it occurred.  A photo may be requested to better assist with your service.  Guardian may send a cleaning kit or schedule a service technician to come to your home to provide one of the following services, all at no cost to you!

- Professional cleaning for covered accidental stains.

- Professional repair for covered damages.

- Full item replacement if unable to clean or repair covered accidental stains or covered damages.

SUMMARY OF PROTECTION PLAN EXCLUSIONS:

Anything not listed in the "Product Specific Coverage" of this plan.

Damage to furniture items that is covered by the manufacturer's warranty.

Damage that occurs to furniture items while located outside the 50 States of the United States.

Damage caused durning, or as a result of delivery, handling, set-up or assembly of furniture items; furniture items in transit or storage; furniture items located outdoors.  All losses covered by homeowners or renters insurance.

Damage caused by pets or other animals including but not limited to damage caused by beaks, claws, or jaws. 

Repeated pet bodily fluid stains which are considered preventable occurrences.

General soiling, defined as gradual buildup of dirt, dust, bodily oils, perspiration, or any other accumulated stains that cannot be attributed to a single incident.

Indentations from writing on wood surface or any type of surface abrasion; finish scorching (unless a specifically covered heat mark) and wood burns or heat damage; loss of silvering of glass or mirror components that are crowned or curved; scratches, rips, cuts, gouges, and scuff marks of any type that do not clearly penetrate through upholstery or the clear coat finish on wood exposing the bare wood.  

Leather or vinyl cracking or peeling, including damage caused by perspiration, body and hair oils; stress tears or rips, scratches, and leather scars or finish defects.  Repair and replacement are specifically excluded on split hides used in seating areas.

Odors.

Unknown stains; color loss, fading, and discoloration; all normal wear and tear, including damage that cannot be attributed to a single relatable incident.

Loss of foam resiliency, pilling, fraying or loosening of threads on upholstery; seam slippage or separation.

Spring or coil damage, unless specifically covered.

Fabric or leather dye lot variations, wood finish variations or manufacturer's discontinuation.

Unless specifically covered, plastic or metal parts such as hinges and drawer slides, failure of assembled joints, all other nonfunctional or aesthetic parts including but not limited to knobs, buttons, rollers, baskets or accessories used in conjunction wiht the covered furniture item, such as pillows, lamps, and remotes.

Ballpoint pen ink, crayon or lipstick marks of more than 6" in length are considered preventable.  

Damage caused by unauthorized cleaning products or methods.

Damage caused by unauthorized repair methods; defects or damage caused by topical treatments. 

Failure to follow manufacturer recommended routine maintenance and inspection.

Unless specifically covered, stains or liquid rings caused by substances such as medication (including vitamins).

Body and hair oils, hair treatments including hair gel, hair spray, mousse, or other like substances.

Dyes, paints, acids, corrosives, caustic solutions, chemicals, bleaches, glue, candle wax, adhesives, gum, ink (except ballpoint pen ink), marker, dirt or other soil, pollen, tree sap, mold or mildew stains due to atmospheric causes, rust, nail polish remover, cosmetics that damage wood or other hard surfaces.

The plan does not apply to parachute cloth, "X" coded fabrics, 100% silk, non-colorfast material, draperies, area rugs, carpets, box springs, mattresses, nubuk, paper, fossil stone, marble, plastic, bare wood, wooden bed slats, oil finished furniture, crowned or curved glass, and electronic components.  

Any modifications to the furniture item that alter the appearance and function from the manufacturer's original state.  This plan does not transfer to replacement furniture.

"As is", "final sale", "pre-owned" and rental products, commercial use, public rental, use for profit or communal use for multi-family housing.  

Repairs necessitated by intentional physical damage, acts of nature, fire, burglary, theft, vandalism, collision, spilled liquids (unless resulting in a covered stain or liquid ring), corrosion, insect infestation, misuse, neglect, mishandling, or abuse.

Unauthorized modifications made to the furniture item; altered serial numbers; failure to follow manufacturer's installation, operation or maintenance instructions; repairs performed by non-authorized repairer; any items not affecting the furniture item's function.  

Damages due to external faults such as wiring, electrical connection, or plumbing. 

Products on loan during repair process.

Failure caused by voltage converter and/or applying incorrect voltage to the furniture item.

Diagnosis where no defect has been found or noted.

Damage caused by war, invasion or act of foreign enemy, hostilities, civil war, rebellion, riot, strike, labor disturbance, lockout or civil commotion.

Loss or injury to a person or loss or damage to property or any incident, contingent, special or any direct or indirect loss and consequential damages including but not limited to, losses incurred to any delay in rendering service under this plan and loss of use during the period that your furniture item is at an authorized servicer or while awaiting parts.
